Set of 5 Vintage Georges Briard Butterfly Glasses – Midcentury Pink & Burnt Orange Meadow
A flight of fancy in glass form—this set of five vintage Georges Briard butterfly tumblers brings the joy of summer indoors. Soft pink butterflies flutter among wild stalks of burnt orange grass, dancing across a wraparound scene that feels pulled straight from a 1960s daydream.
These tumblers were designed by Georges Briard, the iconic midcentury tastemaker whose work graced the shelves of Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Bergdorf Goodman from the 1950s through the 1970s. Born Jakub Brojdo in Ukraine, Briard became a celebrated figure in American design, known for whimsical, highly stylized homewares that turned everyday entertaining into an artform. His signed pieces—like this—are now highly collectible for their saturated color palettes, nostalgic charm, and sheer joie de vivre.
Condition:
Great vintage condition. No chips, no cracks. The colors are vivid and the glass sparkles—these look nearly new despite their decades-old roots.
Dimensions:
Each tumbler measures approximately 3.25" wide x 4.25" tall
