Designing Through the Moves, Motherhood, and Meaning
Hi, I’m Rebekah — and Thyme to Acquire started with a simple dream: to make every house feel like home, no matter where life took us.
During my husband’s med school years, we bounced from Miami to Dominique (a small island in the West Indies) to Chicago — three little ones in tow and a whole lot of moving boxes. With each new city, I found joy in the hunt: thrifting, estate sales, flea markets… all the good stuff. Slowly, room by room, I created cozy, character-filled spaces that felt like us.
With a background in Art History and Ceramics, I’ve always had a soft spot for pieces with stories — vintage finds, hand-thrown pottery, worn-in textures that bring warmth and soul to a space. To me, styling isn’t just about how things look — it’s about how they make you feel.
These days, Thyme to Acquire is more than just a collection of beautiful things. It’s about helping you create spaces and moments that feel thoughtful, lived-in, and completely your own.
