This monumental brass table lamp is a true statement piece—both in scale and style. Standing at approximately 39” tall, its stacked geometric silhouette is bold and architectural, with a warm aged patina that enhances its sculptural quality. Two narrow bands featuring animal figures in low relief appear near the base and top section—details that speak to the high level of craftsmanship without overwhelming the form.
Though unmarked, this lamp is strongly attributed to the Marbro Lamp Company and likely designed by James Mont in the 1950s or ’60s. Based in Los Angeles, Marbro was known for producing dramatic, high-end lighting for Hollywood interiors and exclusive designer showrooms. Their pieces were handcrafted using globally sourced materials and often took 75 to 90 days to complete.
