This early 20th-century Chinese ginger jar lamp is a rare decorative piece that retains its original porcelain lid—a seldom-seen detail in converted jar lamps. Hand-painted in the Famille Rose palette, it features alternating scenes of blooming peonies in ornate vessels, a geometric handled basket, and panels of Chinese calligraphy. A Greek key and ribbon motif encircles the shoulder, while the thick enamel-style glaze displays beautiful pooling and subtle speckling throughout.

Mounted on a pagoda-style carved wooden base and topped with vintage brass fittings, this lamp brings timeless color, texture, and global character to any collected or chinoiserie-inspired space.

Lamp works with current wiring but hasn’t been rewired—sold as-is.
